Are you ready to discover the Montsec 7?
This town is the last place in Europe where dinosaurs walked. Tread its cobbled streets and visit the Dinosaur Museum. Besides that, you’ll find a site where you can see fossilised dinosaur footprints, La Ribagorza Information Centre (Centro de Interpretación) and the remains of Arén Castle.

You can also visit Condes de la Ribagorza Castle and San Medardo Hermitage, and walk the dolmen (ruta de los dólmenes) and trades (ruta de los oficios) trails.
This town, crowned by the castle that inspired its name, is the perfect starting point to discover Canelles Reservoir and enjoy some of the most spectacular views in the area.
It’s also worth visiting San Salvador Church and the two hermitages: San Miguel and San Quílez.

This is home to Santa María de Alaón Monastery, a stunning 11th-century example of Romanesque architecture that has been declared a National Monument.
The natural setting around Sopeira means you’ll also get to enjoy the view. A walk on the jetty will give you a great photo opportunity.
Before continuing with your tour, don’t miss the mediaeval bridge: Pont d’Alt.
In Tolva, you’ll get the chance to do the Congosto del río Cajigar hiking trail. A hike amid colourful stones, waiting to surprise you from start to finish.
Visit the 11th-century tower and San Cristóbal Church in Luzás. A peaceful stroll through its picturesque streets will leave you ready to proceed along your way.
Even though we’ve left this for last, it’s the starting point for one of the best adventures you’ll have in Montsec de Aragón: the Montfalcó walkways and Congost de Mont-rebei gorge.
Montsec de l’Estall visitors’ centre will tell you all you need to know to get the most out of this experience. Complete your trip there by visiting Viacamp Tower, Virgen de Obac Sanctuary and Virgen del Congost de Chiriveta Hermitage.
